Ken Brooks

Rev. Kenneth Corbin Brooks, Ph.D. is a retired minister and accomplished contemporary American artist whose work is described as postmodern expressionism. He is also a social activist with interests in political, economic, religious, and humanitarian issues. Besides the display of his work in the Vatican, his other most significant contribution is using his artistic talents to raise awareness about the welfare of children, address the issue of addiction, and to draw attention to political concerns. Examples of his humanitarian illustrations include the "Save the Children" project, a large oil painting for a Twelve Step Recovery House and political cartoons in the Republican Evening News. As a member or chair of political and social committees he has helped change laws or social policies in the State of New York. His literary works have been translated into several languages.
